We both share a love of photography and I tracked you down via deviantART - really enjoyed some of your work

This all started when I was shooting in Garema Plaza on Sunday and I saw a group of young photographers. I started talking to some of them, particularly one guy who uses a Pentax like I do (I was the guy in the electric wheelchair). They told me they were all involved with deviantART. Were you part of that group?

Apart from shared photographic interests, the reason why I spoke to that group stems from my involvement with the Canberra Photographic Society (CPS) CPS has been around for a long time and currently has more than 40 very active members, a few of whom regularly exhibit and are recognised internationally. Our membership covers the full range abilities and ages but there is no doubt that us greybeards form the solid majority.

What we'd like to do is to connect with younger photographic artists in Canberra so we can learn from and support each other. I think there could be a lot to gain from such contact. I would appreciate it if you could hook me up with some of these younger younger local photographers (including yourself) so I can develop this idea further. I've just subscribed to deviantART "scooter2591"
